I think given the nature of the software, it’s really hit or miss across different devices.

With DEMUL, hopefully you have better luck with it. If not, let me know. I use it exclusively over nullDC now.

Well I checked on the earlier problem and that plugin is indeed in the Plugin folder, but it must be broken because it still won’t take anything. I think I’m just gonna switch to DEMUL, and from what you’ve said it sounds like that’s the better route anyway.

I’m actually really wanting to use Reicast, so that I can play it on my Galaxy Note 4. I’ve had a lot of issues with it crashing on start-up, though. I found an earlier patch and managed to boot the bios successfully, but the games won’t play. Have you had any experience with it?

I’ve also had better luck with DEMUL when it comes to graphics, and there’s also the fact that it can run most WinCE games when nullDC can’t.

If I can’t figure out this then I’ll go ahead and switch. For a long time NullDC is all there’s been, so I had no idea.

Look at the plugins folder and see if it’s there, and if not, just redownload nullDC and look for it. If you’re having too many problems getting this working, I’d recommend checking out DEMUL, because it’s better than nullDC at this point (I’ve been meaning to do an article on it.)

It actually gave me an error telling me I didn’t have a another .dll file but I found it online. I’ve followed instructions from various websites for setup that all say the exact same thing and I’ve tried redoing the whole setup multiple times. Do you know where I can find this plugin so I can just friggin play already?

You can copy over the VMU to use whatever file name that emulator uses, and you can see if you have better luck with it.
