If you frequently use a webcam and are looking for the best one available, I don't think there will be many other choices than the Ultra Vision. It's equipped with a large lens, comprised of five glass elements for the best image quality possible. When taking everything into consideration though, is it worth your $120?
You can read the full review here and discuss it here! If you still have questions about the webcam, feel free to shoot them at me.

Does anyone market a webcam who's window on the desktop goes full screen or at least quarter screen? My local BB Geek Squad guy says no.
Was wondering if it's only that they don't sell one. |

http://techgage.com/viewimg.php?img=...Ultra%20Vision That image there is the highest you can go for web chat... which is because any higher would be pushing too much data to be reliable. The higher resolution (960*720) is much larger.

The scary part is it seems like I have the same pair of glasses, with the same tint (yours seem to be darker though). They broke a few days ago.. Have you been following me?

Well the sad thing is... those glasses are not tinted at all. It just appears that way. Again, if I had "better" lighting (whatever that may be), they may come out better than that.
I have similar looking sunglasses, but they are so dark you couldn't see my eyes at all through them, heh.

Have you guys had any problems with your computers recognizing this camera after power-down?
Does the record light come on during initial computer start-up like the QCP4000 did? Thanks. Glenn |

Does unplugging and replugging it in solve the problem? I never had a problem with my Ultra Vision, but I did have that problem once with the Notebooks Pro webcam. I blame my computer more than the cam though, because I have the same thing happen with my thumb drives.

Hi, cool review. I have a few questions for you!
I'm going on a road trip to california and want to do a time-lapse style recording of our car drive. I'll have my laptop + hard drives in the back, with the webcam mounted inside the car somewhere. Does the webcam focus on far away scenery (outside) ok? Can you specify it to record to the hard drive indefinately, at a variable FPS? say, I want to fill a 500gb hard drive with 640x480 @ 5fps, can I do that with the bundled, or other software? Looking forward to your replies!! thanks, kirby --vancouver, canada |

You could probably do that with other software, but not with the software included. I can't really lead you in the right direction, because I have never tried to pull that off.
As for focusing, I have no idea really, as I no longer have the camera. I assume that constantly moving, it will never be able to focus on anything though.
