Oh yeah, OUYA
Sideloading Google play along with Netflix and other streaming service apps? Hells yeah! Yep, I may just have to look into an OUYA.

If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside. --Robert X. Cringely, InfoWorld magazine

OUYA has done nothing to impress me so far, to be honest. The upside is that it's $100, but the downside is that you can tell. They're just in a tight spot... they couldn't very well charge much more for the console, and then trade-off creep in when they have to keep it affordable. It's especially made worse when some of the public are getting their consoles before the actual Kickstarter backers are.
I still hold out hope that OUYA might be able to succeed enough so that the next generation will be even better. And it sure could be, given the rate that mobile technology is improving.
