Default Can a 3x1 Monitor Setup for Gaming be Affordable?

This past spring, we posted a couple of in-depth looks at AMD's Eyefinity technology, with both 3x1 and 3x2 monitor configurations, and throughout posting those, a common "complaint" I heard from people is that such setups are just not that realistic at the end of the day. But, I'm not so sure that's true, because today, money isn't really the major issue, but whether or not you have enough space for multiple monitors!

Those monitors were cheap as shit. I already had one. I got two others off of eBay. These were bought before wide screen became the standard but you can get a 19" wide screen monitor for fairly cheap.
