But as you say, few home users shell out $700 for Photoshop and then $300 or whatever it is every year for an upgrade. If they did, this still proves cheaper.

But honestly I think Adobe has been fair in their price scheme. If you owned and upgraded the suite and compared the costs where would you be? Obviously that’s for the committed and as you say doesn’t quite fit the demographic of home users. I run Corel’s PSP but there is no way I can buy Draw. Short term its cheaper to rent AI for a year… Corel you better come up with something better to convince me.
