This might be worth it for the convenience factor if already planning to buy, but otherwise it’s not a good deal.

Spicey!

The Metro interface works great on a tablet but there’s no way I’d go with any other tablet than an iPad right now, and especially with 64 bit ones on the horizon and iOS 7. I don’t own an iPad, but I’ve played with them as well as the Surface tablets, not to mention a host of other Android devices, but the sheer selection of apps and just how smooth and bug free they run on the iPad then It is going to take a lot more than a mere $200 trade in to get me to bite. I guess buying your customers is the only way Microsoft can get customers considering how they been losing money on them. This is just another way to lose more?. As great as Surface is as a tablet it’s just too late to the party when the iPad and other Android tablets clearly are taking the publics eye.

I know most people are bitter about Windows 8 but I’ve played with their tablets and its not bad. Seeing as iOS has been mostly the same since its inception trading in an iPad for a Surface may not be a bad idea. Would be nicer if the One was out but oh well.
