From my understanding, Skype is supposed to offer you the chance to sign-in via Facebook or Messenger, but I have yet to be prompted for it. I’d assume, that like most other multi-IM clients, it’ll create a separate list in your client with each set of contacts, and then you could merge them as you please. I could be way off, though.

I have an account with Skype and Messenger with the same email registered, will there be a problem migrating my contacts and etc? As long as Microsoft can pull off a seamless migration from Messenger to Skype with little to no hassle, this will be a very good move.
