From time to time a game comes along that looks good, but you just want it to look better. That game this time around is No Man’s Sky and with the newly released 372.53 drivers from NVIDIA, you can push it even further with Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) and SLI. For those unfamiliar with what DSR is, the simplest description is that it renders the game at a higher resolution, such as 4K, and then scales it to fit your monitor’s maximum resolution, like 1080p. This NVIDIA feature has enhanced my No Man’s Sky experience visually and you can see for yourself what it could do for you with the images below.
There are a number of other games that are also supported, like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, F1 2016, Obduction and the open beta program for Paragon. Obviously, the biggest surprise here is Deus Ex: Mankind Divided; it’s set to release in about a week, and having Game Ready drivers available so soon is a great change of pace. That includes having an SLI profile ready to go, so expect maximum performance with your multi-GPU system when it releases August 23.
The last big surprise is that these drivers support the new GeForce GTX 10-series GPUs gaming notebooks. I wouldn’t have imagined this driver would have been pushed out to the public just yet, but knowing this will be on the market soon, has me a little excited. *ahem* Carry on.
You can download the latest driver either through the GeForce experience app if you have it installed, or directly from NVIDIA through either a search, or the driver link here for Windows 10 x64.
