For the second of our hardware-related contests that are part of our 10th anniversary celebrations, we’ve teamed-up with our good friends at TRENDnet. TRENDnet had a great showing at CES, thanks in big part to its blazing-fast TEW-828DRU router (sporting six antennas!), and also its brand-new 1200 AV2 powerline Ethernet adapters. So, how about we give some of those away?

Since it’s not a technology that everyone may be familiar with, powerline adapters allow you to provide Internet access to a room that might not be able to reach the router for wired, or is too unstable wirelessly. Powerline Ethernet kits like the TPK-420E2K can’t provide the same performance as being plugged straight into the router, but it’s as stable as if it were. Rob’s been using a TRENDnet powerline kit for a couple of years now and has nothing but great things to say about it.
