When it comes to games, more often than not, hype is usually a bad thing. It sets expectations unrealistically high and gamer hearts sink to the bottom of the ocean. However, every now and then, a game comes along that not only meets these desires, but exceeds them. Ladies and gentlemen, BioShock Infinite is one such title.

Great review! Makes me want to go buy this game.

Alas, I shall have to wait until I’ve got a surplus of cashish to blow. :(

Agreed, fantastic review. It’s really, REALLY nice to see a company release a masterpiece like this nowadays, when it’s become so common for certain companies to half-ass things or release a bugged-out game.

The only bug I came across was some minor graphical ones with the draw distance. At no point did the game crash, bog down, stutter or anything… on a crossfire rig no less. I am glad that 2K let them take their time with it.

Too bad it’s so expensive. I hate spending that much on a game now that I’m so used to Steam deals.

I’m kind of the same way. If I’m super-stoked for a game, I have no problem paying full-price, because I know it’ll be worth it. But when it comes to every other game, I have enough patience to hold-out.

I got Borderlands 2 for half price not long after it was released. Maybe this’ll go on sale sometime soon.

Ahh, I didn’t even realize that went on sale yet, or I at least forgot about it.

It went on sale during the holidays I think.

This game was one of the reasons I just upgraded my sons PC with a 5670 to a new 7850. I wanted this game but was unwilling to spend $60 on it. I could however buy my son a new video card for his computer that came with a free copy of Bioshock and Tomb Raider. Pretty good deal if you ask me :-)

It’s an outstanding deal, really, especially if you actually wanted the games.
