Controlling Your Fans Like a DJ: NZXT Releases Sentry Mix 2

To many enthusiasts, fan controllers have as much to do with balancing cooling performance and noise as they do with style, which is why California-based NZXT announced yesterday the release of the Sentry Mix 2.
The look of this 6 channel fan controller was inspired by the sliders found on mixing units and there’s no denying that it looks unique with a matte black panel, glossy black sliders and customizable five-colour LEDs. It may not be as robust as the original Sentry Mix in terms of raw power, but 30 watts per channel should be more than enough for most.
Tack on black cables to keep system interiors clean looking and PWM connectors and it may be a winner, but probably the best thing about the Sentry Mix 2 is the $19.99 US price tag. It’s out now, but availability looks very limited on the major retailer’s sites.
