GeForce 313.95 Beta Targets Crysis 3, Assassin’s Creed III and Civilization V

Crysis 3 may not be set to launch for another month, but NVIDIA’s wasted no time in getting out a new beta GeForce driver that already improves upon its performance. Given there is no base performance metric to go by, gains are not mentioned, but if you’re planning on picking the game up, rest-assured, you’ll want this driver.

Crytek’s latest shooter isn’t the only game to feel the blessings of NVIDIA’s tweaking; single and dual-GPU performance increases can be seen in Assassin’s Creed III (+27%), Civilization V (+19%), Call of Duty: Black Ops II (+14%), DiRT 3 (+14%), Just Cause 2 (+11%) and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, F1 2012 and Far Cry 3 (+10%). SLI profiles have also been added for DmC: Devil May Cry, while an updated profile affects Warframe.

You can read a lot more on the driver here and then commit to your download here.
