NVIDIA’s GeForce 314.14 Beta Driver Tackles SimCity, SC2: HotS, HAWKEN PhysX and RE6

NVIDIA has been on a driver-release rampage lately, and with all of the games set to launch this month, it’s no surprise to see yet another release which introduces profiles for those, along with upgrades for past games.

In particular, NVIDIA makes mention of SimCityStarCraft 2: Heart of the SwarmResident Evil 6 and Hawken PhysX, but ignores Tomb Raider, which releases tomorrow. We’re not sure if this is a deliberate jab on account of that game being pushed heavily by AMD, but we do hope this latest driver will work fine with that game as well.

Edit: Using NVIDIA Inspector, we found that an SLI profile for Tomb Raider has existed in the driver since at least 314.07. Just how optimized it is, is another story.

    Where is the SLI profile for Tomb Raider Nvidia?!?

      As I mentioned in the post, this might just be NVIDIA’s way of ignoring the game. It might still have an SLI profile even though it’s not explicitly mentioned. I look forward to your findings when you jump into the game later.

        Indeed, but such oversight required regurgitation. (c;

        I did decide to check out the these drivers with NVIDIA Inspector and I did find that it does have a Tomb Raider (2013) SLI profile, even though none of the releases going back to Nov., show no addition of it.

        I am curious to see if the WHQL has it but I don’t want to downgrade just to upgrade again. I will inquire with others and see if it’s there.
