GIGABYTE Launches North American Battlefield 3 Competition

If you’re what you’d consider to be an elite Battlefield 3 player, and maybe even if not, GIGABYTE’s latest competition is well worth checking out. The company has opened registration to construct teams that could win some sweet prizes for placing in first, second or even third. Sure, winning the competition would provide much sought-after bragging rights, but here, it’s the gear that makes this competition worth it.

For the team that places first, GIGABYTE will award 8x Radeon HD 7970s and $1600 USD; second place gets 8x Radeon HD 7870 and $800 USD, and for third place, the prizes include 8x K8100 gaming keyboards, 8xx M8600 gaming mice and $400 USD.

You can hit up the URL below to go register, but be sure to first read through the full rule list before that. I tried to find information regarding country eligibility, but came up empty-handed. However, as it’s a “North American” cup, it can be assumed that countries outside of the US or Canada would not be eligible to enter.
