Cooler Master has announced that its newest gaming mouse, CM Storm Havoc, is now available.
Just judging by its feature set, the Havoc is clearly a gaming-oriented product. Said to have been designed “with extreme precision in mind,” it features an Avago 9800 laser sensor capable of resolutions from 100 DPI up to an astonishing 8200 DPI. This alone should help an end user stay in complete and precise control within the stressful havoc of a competitive gaming session.
Assisting in that quest are the Havoc’s ergonomic design (right-handed, it must be said) and a rubber-coated body. It should be easy to keep your hands on the Havoc no matter what grip style you prefer.
The Havoc is an eight-button mouse. Each button is programmable; moreover, every single switch is equipped with a Japanese Omron micro-switch rated to be capable of sustaining over 5 million clicks a piece.
Speaking of programmability, the Havoc can be customized through control of its lighting effects. Cooler Master says its newest gaming mouse is capable of emitting full RGB color options. Moreoever, the mouse has 128Kb of onboard memory for user profile management.
The Havoc is now available in the CM Storm at a MSRP of $54.99.
