In just under one month’s time, one of the biggest video game shows of the year will take place in Cologne, Germany. I’m of course talking about Gamescom, and concidentally, so is NVIDIA. The company shot us over an email to say that it will be stationed at the show between August 21-25, at booth E-072 in hall 10.1.
Well… that’s just part of the story. The company is also going to be hosting its own event on August 20, to help us celebrate the greatness that is gaming, and of course, some of the games that are coming. That will undoubtedly include Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Eidos’ next epic Lara Croft adventure.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
If you’ll be at the show, you’ll want to be sure to register for NVIDIA’s event as soon as possible. If you won’t be in attendance, you’ll be able to stream along from home. NVIDIA emphasizes that this event is all around celebrating gaming, and personally, I couldn’t think of a better thing to celebrate. The company will be on hand with the latest hottest demos, exclusive previews, and stage presentations.
The obvious question is whether or not NVIDIA is being coy, and plans to release some new hardware at the event. It could be a Huang shot, but who really knows but NVIDIA? One thing I know for sure is: if NVIDIA tells you to tune into a live stream, it’s going to be worth your time.
Writing this post reminded me that I’ll be present at Gamescom. It’ll be the first time ever Techgage will be attending, so I’m a little excited, to say the least. It’s not exactly hard to get excited about gaming, though. Or German beer.
