Earlier this week, we took a brief look at EVGA’s three upcoming X99 motherboards, and now, we’re going to do the same for GIGABYTE. While EVGA gave us a bit of information to go on, GIGABYTE’s only been able to provide us with a couple of images (which you might have already seen on its Facebook page). Thus, all we can do for now is really ogle at the boards themselves, and wait until launch before we can really dig in.
Somewhat interestingly, ASUS isn’t planning to reveal anything until Intel’s X99 embargo lifts, so don’t expect to see a “Quick Look” featuring its boards until that time.
Nonetheless, like EVGA, GIGABYTE will offer three X99 boards at launch. These include the gaming-focused GAMING G1 WIFI, the overclocking-focused SOC FORCE, and the enthusiast UD7 WIFI.

We weren’t given pricing information on these boards, but based on what we’ve heard so far, we’d expect X99 offerings to start at about $250 and range up to (or perhaps even surpass in very few cases) $400. No one said X99 was going to be cheap, right?
