With the major love AMD showed Borderlands 3 before and after its launch, we’ve been left surprised that the company hasn’t worked out a bundle deal with the game’s publisher. After all, there are new features to take advantage of on its newest Radeon Navi cards, such as image sharpening (which has been well-regarded by fans so far). Little did we know, though, AMD had other plans in store, and is now (finally) giving people the chance to score this game, and even others.
AMD is promoting both its CPUs and GPUs with this bundle, so there are many different ways you can score a new game. If you purchase a Radeon RX 5700, RX 590, RX 580, or even RX 570, you can claim a free copy of either Borderlands 3 or the hugely anticipated Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint. PCs and laptops that bundle in those or similar cards may also qualify, so be sure to keep an eye out for mention of the promotion.

If a new CPU is more timely for you, then you can score a free copy of Borderlands 3 and The Outer Worlds if you pick up any Ryzen 9 3000-series or the Ryzen 7 3800X. If you go throttle back the price-point a bit, you can choose either one of those two games. Those qualifying CPUs include the 3700X, 3600X, 2700X, and 2700.

The Outer Worlds
“But I need both a CPU and GPU!” Well, that’s great, since pairing the Ryzen 9 or Ryzen 7 3800X with one of the aforementioned GPUs will net you all three games on offer. If you go with the lower CPUs, you will get to choose two of the three. For those who are currently in need of building a new system, this promotion is packing some great value.
In addition to all of this, gamers also get a three-month pass to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s Xbox streaming service, which by all accounts also seems to be a solid offering, helped by the fact that there are over 100 games on tap to jump into.
