AMD Updates ‘Never Settle Reloaded’, Now Includes Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon

Back in February, AMD launched its ‘Never Settle Reloaded’ promotion that we called an offer for “serious gameage”. Whether or not “gameage” is a word is unimportant – what was important was that AMD was offering a stellar collection of games for a purchase of even its mainstream offerings. NVIDIA’s counter offer, by contrast, bored us to tears so bad that we couldn’t even muster the interest to post about it ($75 split three free-to-play games).

Well, with Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon coming out soon, AMD has decided to make its ongoing promotion a little bit sweeter by offering the game to anyone who purchases any AMD card HD 7770 or higher. As an added bonus to those who opt for the HD 7770, you’ll also receive the base Far Cry 3 game.

Admittedly, this is kind of a mess. If you go high-end, you miss out on a couple of cool titles, such as Tomb Raider, and the fact that the lowest card in the table is the only one that gets Far Cry 3 is just baffling. Nonetheless, regardless of which GPU you purchase, you’re going to get some cool games with it. What’s not to like?

Oh – best part: this Blood Dragon offer is extended to anyone who’s ever redeemed a Never Settle Reloaded code, so no, you don’t get screwed because you bought early.
