Greetings from the Central Wastelands!
Our beta started last week and we are stoked by the level of participation and reactions from our early testing community. This week we’ve sent out another batch of emails to applicants and will be doing so for months to come. It’s still not to late to sign up! Visit http://www.plaync.com/aa_beta.html to register.
E3 2005 is only two weeks away and Auto Assault will have a huge presence at the NCsoft booth (#1024, South Hall). Be sure to check out our E3 page (http://www.autoassault.com/e3_2005.html) which includes highlights from last year. We will be updating the page periodically up to and through the expo, so revisit often and see what’s new.
There are two new Recon updates up this week, a new chapter in our historical preludes to the game called “For the Greater Good†(http://www.autoassault.com/recon/recon_history_prelude_chapter3.html), and a look at the Biomek Terminator (http://www.autoassault.com/recon/recon_class_terminator.html) class. Our forum poll has been updated (http://boards.autoassault.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=17886) as has the NetDevil Auto Assault team page (http://www.autoassault.com/team/).
Two Auto Assault articles were posted this week, both from sites based in Europe: a preview from Jolt (http://www.jolt.co.uk/index.php?articleid=3671) and a Q&A interview from Boomtown (http://rpg.boomtown.net/en_uk/articles/art.view.php?id=8041).
Finally, the Gamespy video featuring Auto Assault and the Havok engine in action is now available on our Downloads/Movies page (http://www.autoassault.com/downloads/movies.html).
