Cooler Master Wants You to Get Your Mod On, Has Big Prizes to Entice You

Been pondering a mod but need just a little bit more inspiration? How does some prize money and a bunch of free hardware sound? If it sounds amazing, you’ll want to pay attention to a competition that Cooler Master just launched dedicated to those not afraid to put in some heavy time modding up their PC.

The competition is split into two sections; one is dedicated to full-tower mods (that is, to take a pre-existing chassis and deck it out), and the other is “scratch” – chassis built from the ground up, kind of like the one we talked about a couple of weeks ago (granted, it’s hard to call that a “chassis”, but even so).

One thing’s for certain: The prizes are plentiful for this contest. Each fragment offers 1 grand prize, 2x second prizes and 3x third prizes, and it might take little more than a quick look at the official prize page to whet your appetite.

The competition runs from now until January 31, 2014, and winners will be chosen via community vote (30% weight) and CM’s official judges (70% vote). Good luck to those who enter!
