If bigger is truly better, then Cooler Master’s Cosmos full tower cases must be a double fudge sundae with whipped cream, sprinkles and cherries on top. Still not enough? How about another scoop in the form of the brand new Cosmos SE?
This addition to the family keeps the same basic exterior styling with the curved aluminum handles and feet, but under the hood, cooling has been ramped up thanks to the two 120mm LED front fans, complete with on/off controls, a 140mm top fan, another 120mm fan in the rear, and support 120, 240 and 360mm radiators. If you’re running a really crazy system and need the utmost in cooling performance, all three radiators can be installed at once!
Other features include support for up to 8 hard drives or 18 solid state drives thanks to the removable drive cages. There’s also room for video cards measuring up to 15.5 inches long, and CPU coolers up to 6.9 inches tall, along with almost an inch and a half of cable management space behind the motherboard tray, and dust filters on the front top and bottom.
No pricing or launch date was mentioned in yesterday’s press release, but I managed to find it available for pre-order on one major online retailer for $169 US, available October 9th.
