Gamers beware – the latest release from Cooler Master’s CM Storm gaming brand is a nasty little bugger. The Xornet has been officially launched as the latest gaming mouse in a line up that has already won over tons of gamers. Under the hood, the mouse features a 2000 DPI optical sensor with anti-drift control, Omron micro-switches that are good for at least 5 million clicks and 8KB of memory to store your super-secret macros. Shhh…
On the outside is a rubberized grip area that wraps around the molded right hand claw design, buttons for switching between 500, 1000 and 2000 DPI on-the-fly and an Ultra-Step Scroll Wheel Encoder but that last one might be marketing fluff for clicky scroll wheel.
The Xornet should be available this month for just under $30, but it’s flying under the radar at any of major online retailers presently so keep an eye out for it.
