Corsair has a new series of 120mm and 140mm fans: Air Series LED. As the name suggests, these fans are available in 120mm and 140mm sizes. All of the fans in the series are equipped with LEDs – available in red, white, blue, and purple – but otherwise share the same basic design of the company’s AF fans. The new Air Series LED fans’ blades are clear-frosted, unlike the AF fans’ opaque ones.
Corsair’s Director of Product Marketing, Xavier Lauwaert, had this to say about the company’s new fans: “Users often feel they are sacrificing quality when using LED fans. Our new Air Series LED fans combine the proven low-noise, high-performance design of our standard Air Series fans with just the right amount of LED visual flair. Now users can enhance and customize the look of their PCs with LED fans without compromising performance.“
Judging by the photos available, I’m inclined to agree.
