Corsair Explains LN2 Overclocking from Start to Finish

Overclocking a processor today could almost be considered “simple”, with motherboard manufacturers requiring minimal effort on the user’s part to achieve rather commendable clock frequencies. But to truly impress, great knowledge and sometimes the right tools are required. In the case of the extreme, we’re talking liquid nitrogen. Don’t know much about it? Corsair has you covered.
Enlisting the help of pro-overclocker Jake Crimmins, details are given from start to finish on setting yourself up with an LN2 setup. As Jake takes advantage of a Core i7-990X CPU and 4x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580s GPUs, chances are good that your LN2 run will consist of differing hardware. But the setup and process tends to remain almost the same.
As someone who’s seen a ton of people use LN2 for overclocking but never actually paid attention to the setup, this video is hugely informative. Kudos to Corsair for producing it, and I have one question – when will we see be seeing the Nitro N1000 LN2 cooler?
