Dust off those faded, sun-damaged, dog-chewed Duke Nukem Forever pre-order receipts from 15 years ago, because hell has finally started to freeze-over, for under the mighty power of golden god rays from a halogen lamp, the press-ready disc has been conceived. After 15 years of “It’s done when it’s done” delays, and “dog ate it” excuses, 3D Realms’ long-awaited sequel to the Duke Nukem franchise has gone gold – the discs you will so lovingly cherish for the rest of your life, and your children’s lives, and your children’s children’s hamster’s lives… have started the manufacturing process.

You see, Rapture wasn’t May 21st, they never took the power of the Duke into account, no sir. Rapture will (most likely) be on June 10th Internationally and June 14th in North America. That’s when you’ll be tearing up as the fated box lands on your doormat through the post; handed to you by your new best friend at the local Gamestop, or digitally materialized by your Internet connection – bandwidth permitting of course.
