EA Nabs NHL License?

Earlier today, web surfers discovered Electronic Arts had updated the official website for NHL ’06, the latest installment in their hockey franchise. Strangely, however, several graphics on the site were imbued with the text ‘Exclusive License,’ implying the company had picked up the official rights to produce NHL based games.

Currently, this is ruled untrue. However, I’m sure it was just a leak that has been held back. It wouldn’t surprise anyone, if the next coming weeks brought about this announcement. Read more at 1UP.
