Enermax Releases “Thermal Conductive Coated” CPU Coolers

Choice is a good thing, right? You can choose what colour you want to paint a room, what colour popsicle you would like, and now you can even choose the colour of your CPU cooler… provided it’s either black or white.

Enermax has announced the addition of two new coolers in the ETS-T40 series, the ETS-T40-Black Twister and the ETS-T40 White Cluster. According to the press release, this colour does more than simply make the cooler easier on the eyes. This new coating is being touted as a unique Thermal Conductive Coating (TCC) aimed at providing better heat transfer while preventing oxidation.

Aside from that, both tower coolers feature four, 6mm heatpipes that will touch the CPU directly, and both will sport PWM-capable LED fans. The fan on the Black Twister has the LEDs set so that they create a swirl pattern when the fan is running, while the fan on the White Cluster will allow users to choose from three preset speeds if they wish.

There is socket support for Intel LGA775 and up and AMD AM2 and up, so just about everybody should be covered when both coolers launch in July for a penny shy of $50 US.
