This isn’t a brand-new promotion, but it’s one that managed to escape my radar. With its entire lineup, ranging from the GTX 650 up to the GTX 770, EVGA is bundling in a copy of Interceptor Entertainment’s reboot of Apogee’s classic Rise of the Triad. At $15, the game looks to be a steal to begin with, but the developers just the other day sweetened the deal further by unleashing a mammoth patch that added a bunch of content. This really seems to be a game you’d want if you’re a fan of fast-paced action games.
Why EVGA doesn’t go ahead and slide a copy of the game in with its entire fleet, we’re not sure, but it’s worth noting that in addition to RotT, you’d also qualify for the latest promotion NVIDIA itself has, which offers $75 of in-game currency for the free-to-play games Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter, Marvel Heroes and Warfame. In lieu of that, NVIDIA is offering a copy of Batman: Arkham Origins on the GTX 770.
As always, to take advantage of NVIDIA’s promotion, you’ll want to make sure that the game is mentioned by the etailer you’re purchasing it from. On the GTX 770 in particular, scoring both RotT and Arkham Origins is a pretty sweet deal.
