To help kick Computex 2013 off right, EVGA decided it’d be cool to help us realize how slow our own PCs are. With the help of overclocking master Vince “k|ngp|n” Lucido, EVGA’s hardware managed to break not one, but four world records in the 3DMark Fire Strike test. These results include: overall (30,789), single card (15,276), extreme overall (19,941), and extreme single card (7,623).
Sure, the numbers are impressive, but the hardware used is even more so. In fact, it’s down-right jaw-dropping. We’re talking EVGA’s new X79 Dark motherboard, four GeForce GTX TITANs and a 1,500W PSU for each one. Each card looks to have a special daughter card soldered on to help improve power delivery, as well. The end result is pure madness:
