In the market for a GeForce GTX 580 graphics card? Interested in spending just $20 more for 30% more performance? If so, then EVGA’s just-released GTX 560 Ti “2Win” is for you. The card is essentially an SLI configuration designed to fit in a dual-slot card, and with EVGA’s slight overclock on each GPU, a single GTX 580 is no match.
All too often, cards such as these carry such ridiculous premiums that it’d still make more sense to pick up the card that it’s meant to replace, so EVGA’s $519.99 pricing for the 2Win is rather impressive. It goes without saying that choosing this card over a single GTX 580 would be a no-brainer for the vast majority of those considering it.
This card even offers something that a single GTX 580 cannot – support for 3D Surround. That’s a technology that NVIDIA requires two GPUs for, but because EVGA put two together inside of a single card, that means that it becomes much more accessible (namely, for those who only have the option of using a single GPU in their machine).
In addition to all this, the 2Win also features a special cooler, featuring what looks to be 3x 80mm fans. Hopefully this means that the card will be even quieter than a reference GTX 580 at full-tilt, and cooler to boot.
EVGA’s 2Win card is available now and can be purchased direct or at Newegg.
