I’m not much of a “deal’s guy”, I admit, but every so often I spot something at such a good price that I can’t help but talk about it. This week? A Rockstar Games collection found on Valve’s Steam platform. It includes what I believe to be the company’s entire PC collection, a total of 13 games, and all for just $42.49 (this is about 50% off the regular bundle price).
One thing I notice with game bundles is that most often, they’ll never contain the latest releases you’d hope to see, but that’s not the case here. In addition to Grand Theft Auto IV (and every single other GTA title), the bundle includes the Episodes from Liberty City expansion pack, which includes The Lost and Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony episodes.
On Steam, GTA IV sells for $29.99 (it can be had for much less on Amazon), but Episodes from Liberty City also costs that (and is about the same on Amazon), so in essence, the price you are paying for the entire bundle is about the same if you were to buy both GTA IV and the expansion separately. But here, you get the rest of the GTA’s, both Max Payne’s (which happen to be a couple of my favorite games), Manhunt, Wild Metal, Midnight Club 2 and Bully.
Not a bad haul for $42, huh? This deal is good until the end of the week.
In The Lost and Damned, experience Liberty City as Johnny, a veteran member of The Lost, a notorious biker gang. Johnny has been creating business opportunities for The Lost in Liberty City but his first loyalty must be to the patch he wears on his back and to Billy Grey, the club’s President. However, when Billy returns from rehab hell-bent on bloodshed and debauchery, Johnny finds himself in the middle of a vicious turf war with rival gangs for control of a city torn apart by violence and corruption. Can the brotherhood survive?
