Yet another Humble Bundle has launched, and this one is goood (it does in fact earn that extra ‘o’). This time around, seven excellent indie titles are up for grabs including Super Meat Boy, Bit.Trip Runner, NightSky HD, Shank and Jamestown, with Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles tossed in as extras if you pay more than the average ($4.80 at the time of writing).
Each of these games is well worth $4.80 alone, but together in a pack of six others… this deal is just unbelievable. I’ve played most of the available games here and would highly recommend NightSky, Bit.Trip Runner and Cave Story+ for starters, though Super Meat Boy is one that most others wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. NightSky in particular is interesting because this is the only way you’ll be able to beta test the HD version of the game.
As always, you’re able to decide how your money is going to be used, with the default selection being 65% to the developers, 20% to charity and 15% to the folks behind the Humble Bundles. This time around, the American Red Cross has replaced the EFF as one of the charities of choice, while Child’s Play has remained.
Each of the available games can be played on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, with keys available to redeem the games through Steam should you prefer getting your games that way. The promotion has just kicked off and will run for the next two weeks, so with this collection of stellar games, it’ll be interesting to see if revenue records will be broken.
