Hyperkin, the company behind the excellent retro console remakes RetroN, has just announced a launch date for RetroN 5: December 10th. This is the most feature-rich RetroN the company has ever produced, as it supports the NES (and Famicom), SNES (and Super Famicom), Genesis (and Mega Drive), and Gameboy / Gameboy Advance. With the Power Base Converter add-on, you could add Sega Master System support to the system. All-in-all, the RetroN 5 is seriously packed.
The December 10th launch date applies to both North America and Europe, and the going price will be $99.99 USD or €89.99. All consoles will come with an AC adapter with four different head sockets, ranging from 110 to 240 volts.
If I were not so content with emulation, I’d be all over this like a pea on a carrot.
