Just in time for the release of Grand Theft Auto V, NVIDIA has released a brand-new Game Ready GeForce driver, versioned 350.12. NVIDIA notes that the game supports a wide-range of its technologies, including 3D Vision, 4K Surround, GeForce Experience, MFAA, PCSS, TXAA, SLI, and some other expected features, like G-SYNC, G-SYNC Surround, GameStream, and dynamic super resolution.
If you’re a GeForce user and will be playing GTA V, it goes without saying that this is the driver you want. It’s not said what kind of performance boost will be seen versus the previous 347.88 driver, but I’d bet that the potential gains are worth the short amount of time it takes to update.
Because not everyone will be beating up virtual hookers tonight, GeForce 350.12 brings some other enhancements as well, such as SLI profiles for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty, Project Cars, and Victor Vran. 3D Vision profiles have been added for Mortal Kombat X (Fair), Heroes of the Storm (Excellent), and of course, GTA V (Excellent).
You can check out the official update page here and grab the driver here.
At the moment, the latest AMD driver is 15.3 beta, which came out on March 20.
