Logitech G has just introduced the all-new G900 Chaos Spectrum gaming mouse. Most serious gamers you talk to won’t even consider a wireless mouse, but Logitech claims that this new mouse, when wireless, has zero lag, thanks to its industry-leading wireless technology. This mouse can be used wired or wireless, and sports enough battery life to be trusted by professional eSports gamers.
This mouse brags about a one-millisecond report rate, a highly optimized 2.4 GHz wireless connection, and claims to outperform its wireless, or wired, competitors. The mouse features a comfortable design – an ambidextrous one, at that – and comes with software that Logitech promises will satisfy even the most critical customizers out there.
There is even a new mechanical pivot button design. This technology is implemented into the left and right main buttons, and reduces the pre-travel distance between the buttons and the switches while minimizing the effort needed to actuate the click, giving you a faster recovery after each click. This gives you speed, and I would think it would reduce finger-fatigue during long, intense gaming sessions.
The G900’s battery boasts an impressive 32 hours of continuous play on a single charge without lighting, or 24 hours with the lighting on. The mouse features generous arrays of RGB lighting, which gives the user a seemingly infinite number of light color options that you can custom program. The G900 Chaos Spectrum also has an impressive 11 buttons, that are all programmable.
The G900 Chaos Spectrum is expected to be available in the US and Europe in April 2016 at a MSRP of $149.99 USD and €179.
