Simplicity and ease of use is the name of the game in today’s tech world, and boy, does Logitech have something that should take care of that. The peripheral giant has just announced the K480, a Bluetooth keyboard that can control your mobile phone, tablet and PC, regardless of the OS, with Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS support.
The K480 measures just shy of 12 inches across and a little over 7 and a half inches from front to back, and comes in either black with yellow accents, or white with grey accents. Mobile devices can sit in the integrated cradle while you type away, making it easier and more efficient than typing using the on-screen keyboard.
Switching between any of the three connected devices is done using the selector on the left, which is about as hard as it gets. I had a look through the “immersion guide”, or as I like to call it the “manual” and the K480 looks very easy to set up, use, and maintain, even for a novice user.
The press release says that the K480 will be available in the US and Europe this month, but Logitech’s site is still only taking pre-orders. If you’re the kind of person who wants to check their email, update their status, or send out Tweets using a full-sized keyboard, just pony up $60 US and it’s yours.
