When Google’s second-gen Nexus 7 launched last month, the LTE model was absent. Thus, those that have been wanting in on some mobile wireless action have had to wait indefinitely. Well, thanks to reports that the LTE version is set to launch in mid-September in Japan and Europe, it seems very likely that it will arrive in the US at around the same time.
So far, Google’s latest Nexus 7 has been receiving rave reviews, and has even been called the “best” Android tablet to have ever been released. Given its price-point, high-resolution, fast processor and graphics capabilities, that kind of statement could have likely been safely made even before its launch.
Like the original Nexus 7, the LTE version of the latest model is expected to carry a $70 premium.
