As a PC hardware enthusiast, I’m content with building my own PCs. I mean, I’m capable – so why not? I’d be able to build it just as I like it, without restrictions. It’s awesome.
Well, thoughts like those last about as long as it takes me to catch a glimpse at a PC like RUSH from MAINGEAR. Maybe I don’t need to build a PC, after all. Who would opt for one that looks standard fare over one that would catch some eyeballs and send a shiver down my spine anytime I look at it?
Seriously, this thing is a beaut.
What helps RUSH stand out of the crowd is its use of In Win’s 909 chassis, which features tempered glass that expands the entire side of the chassis. Absolutely no internal hardware will be hidden from view, so with the right light configuration, this could look downright jaw-dropping. A good example of this is seen below, with a RUSH decked out with NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards that are liquid-cooled with the help of a clear EK waterblock and some bright green coolant.
It used to require modders to create something like this, but now it can be had as a prebuilt option.
It’s not just aesthetics that RUSH shines on; it’s with the internal hardware (in case the 4x GeForce 980 Ti cards in the top image wasn’t enough of a hint.) Systems start out at $1,999 but can escalate quickly once they get decked-out (as you’d expect).
MAINGEAR CEO Wallace Santos calls RUSH the “James Bond of gaming desktops”. No, not because it kills the wallet with ultimate precision, but because “It is lethal, resourceful, and powerful, but elegant, cool, and collected.”
Who knows – it might even have the ability to make women weak in the knees.
