Lian Li announced that it has launched its newest open-air test bench, the PC-T80. The new test bench is an update of the PC-T60.
As is typical with most of the company’s products, the PC-T80 is made of brushed aluminum. Like its smaller predecessor, the PC-T80 is a simple yet superbly-executed design. However, it is an improvement of the PC-T60 due to the addition of native radiator support and a design that is more modular and versatile.

The PC-T80 features a three-zone design. The top of the test bench, which is where a radiator up to 360mm is installed, is the first zone. This zone can also host up to three 3.5″/2.5″ storage devices instead of a radiator. The second zone is where the motherboard resides. The third zone, at the bottom of the bench, is where the HDD cage and power supply mount is. Incidentally, this bottom zone is where we see the PC-T80’s modular design most clearly. Builders can put the HDD cage and the power supply mount virtually anywhere they please in that bottom zone.
Lian Li’s newest test bench supports motherboards up to XL-ATX spec. Because it is a test bench, access to all the PC’s components is as easy as you could want. Even the HDD mounts are tool-less, further enhancing the PC-T80’s user-friendliness.
It is available in silver (PC-T80A) and black (PC-T80X). MSRP is $169. Lian Li says the PC-T80 will be available at Newegg at the end of October.
