The first all-in-one PC that I encountered was a slow, boring, power-hungry hunk of junk that sat on a friend’s shelf in their kitchen. They watched YouTube, played music, checked email, and looked up recipes while they cooked. Well, forget that stuff! Them things is meant for gamin’, and MSI knows it!
MSI has had its powerful 27″ all-in-one gaming PCs out for a while now, but have now pumped them up by slapping in an NVIDIA GTX 900M-series GPU. These PCs already feature an Intel Core-i7 CPU, up to 16GB of DDR3L, MSI’s Super RAID that uses two mSATA solid state drives in RAID 0, and a Killer E2200 gaming NIC.
Also included are dual Yamaha speakers and an independent amplifier tucked away behind a 27″ Anti-Flicker LED display with an anti-glare matte coating. Now with the inclusion of either a GTX 970 or GTX 980 mobile Maxwell GPU, this is one killer rig ready for whatever war you want to wage.
Available next week, the beefier new models are expected to retail for a penny under $1,800 USD.
