NVIDIA Asks For Your Vote, Gives You A Chance To Win A GeForce GTX 980 Ti

At PAX Prime 2015, which took place at the end of August, four companies teamed up to put HTC’s Vive in the hands of six artists to see what would be possible. Those companies include HTC and Valve, responsible for the Vive headset, Tilt Brush, makers of the art software, and NVIDIA, which powered the PCs with its high-end GeForce graphics cards.
Overall, the results are quite impressive – so much so, that choosing the “best” is tough. That’s where you come in. You merely need to head here (Facebook account required), view the six results, and then vote on your favorite. That’s all it takes to be entered for a chance to win a brand-new GeForce GTX 980 Ti.
Outside of the US? Don’t fret; a bunch of countries are eligable to win: “You must be a resident of either the United Stated of America United Kingdom, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, India (excluding the State of Tamil Nadu), Ukraine, Hungary, New Zealand and Serbia, and eighteen (18) years of age or older to be eligible to participate in this Contest.”
No Canada, eh? Maybe NVIDIA doesn’t need any poutine and maple syrup, am I right?
The artists are:
Lee Petty – Double Fine Productions
Mike Krahulik – Penny Arcade
Tristan Reidford – Valve
Sarah Northway – Northway Games
Chandana Ekanayake – Uber Entertainment
Michael Shilliday – Whiterend Creative
It seems all of the artists had a great time creating art with this tool. Chandana compared it to the Matrix: “It’s hard to come out of it.”, while Sarah said it was like dancing.
