NVIDIA sends us many emails, but it’s one that says something as simple as “GeForce GTX back in stock!” that makes our ears perk up. It’s a secret to no one that the GPU market has been seriously rough the past year or more, with prices skyrocketing on any model capable of mining worth a damn. Blame for the issue has been thrown around all over, but really, I doubt anyone truly saw how mining was going to impact our GPU markets.
Even today, GPUs at reasonable prices are hard to find, but NVIDIA wants to help you out by giving you a chance to buy up to two GPUs of many different GTX models that are in stock right now, and at prices that won’t make you feel sick to your stomach.
Over at GeForce.com, NVIDIA currently (as of the time this post goes live) has every GPU in stock for the current generation except the 1080 Ti. Of course, it’s the one that’s going to prove one of the most popular (and perhaps that’s why it’s out of stock even still… maybe it was in stock today for a short time).
Prices are $549 for the GTX 1080, $449 for a 1070 Ti, $399 for a GTX 1070, $299 for the GTX 1060, and, for bigger spenders, there’s TITAN Xp for $1,200. Limited to two of each card per customer, with a lead time of one week, but at least there is free delivery.
If the GPU you want isn’t listed, or you simply want a non-FE card, NVIDIA has another page to check out. Called ‘Made to Game’, NVIDIA has the hookup for a number of different etailers, and has split them up by which ones has a certain model available.
In truth, you’re not likely to find that much pricing at SRP (outside of NVIDIA’s own FEs), but the pricing you’re going to see is going to likely be far more reasonable than what else is out there. I didn’t explore too thoroughly, but while B&H Photo has a 1080 Ti SC from EVGA available for $770, Newegg has the same card, but for $200 more. It definitely pays to shop around, but in this particular situation, it looks like NVIDIA’s made that a lot easier.
