This past April’s Fools’, NVIDIA touted its “GeForce GTX G-Assist” flash drive, and despite its ridiculous claims, fans salivated at the thought of owning one. The current design of top-end GTX graphics cards are cool enough, but shrunk down to the size of a flash drive? It’s downright adorable.
NVIDIA’s heard your cries loud and clear, and while it’s not planning to sell GTX flash drives, it’s planning to give away a bunch. If you’re a member of the press meeting with NVIDIA at E3, you can count your blessings as you’ll be receiving one. Registered GeForce Experience users will also get the chance to collect one of 1,080 that will be given away on that platform.
A third way to try for a GTX flash drive is to partake in a brand-new contest NVIDIA has launched in support of the upcoming E3 2017 event. All you have to do is post on Twitter during E3 with the #GameReady and #E3 hashtags, or comment on any GeForce YouTube channel video with the same #GameReady hashtag.
The prizes, in picture form, can be seen here:
In all, 100 prizes will be given out that include GTX flash drives, game codes, and Astro A40/A50 headsets. 50 prizes will be given out that include GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards, an Oculus Rift setup, as well as Acer and Dell G-SYNC displays. A single grand prize winner will receive a Battlebox gaming rig from iBUYPOWER, and perhaps more importantly, a GTX flash drive!
You can read more on the contest here, along with tweets from all of the people who’ve entered the contest before you!
