NZXT has just introduced its new “GRID”, an internal fan hub that supports up to ten fans.
When the company introduced its Switch 810 (our review) and Phantom 630 chassis, many end-users were amazed with their integrated fan hubs. The concept of the integrated fan hub was elegant: Using one power source, you can plug all of your case fans and hide all those unsightly cables with relative ease. With the GRID, now you can do the same thing with other PC chassis too.
The GRID can support a maximum combined wattage of 30W spread out over ten channels. This should prove more than ample for most cases (pun intended), although some more extreme applications (say, multiple radiators with push-pull fan setups) might be too much.
At any rate, you could always mount more than one GRID on your system. At an MSRP of only $11.99, it’s quite affordable.
NZXT says its GRID will be available soon.
