Do you turn your undies inside out so that you can wear them for another day? If you’re this frugal, NZXT’s latest case release may just be what you’ve been looking for. On Friday the Source 220 mid-tower was launched, bringing with it many of the features that enthusiasts want but at a price point that’s much more mainstream.
Available in black inside and out, the Source 220 features a pre-installed 120mm fan on the rear panel and a 140mm fan on the top with the possibility of up to 7 fans in total. There are tool-less 5.25″ and 3.5″ drive bays with support for 2.5″ drives, front panel USB 3.0 support using an internal connection, cable management areas in the motherboard tray and a CPU cut out. All of this is wrapped up in an understated matte black finish with mesh covers on the front to help with cooling.
The best part about the Source 220 is that it should hit online retailers for under $65 making this an ideal starting point for budget builders or folks who may be building a first computer on their own.
A quick check on some of the larger, more popular online retailers turns up nothing, so keep your eyes peeled for availability.
