If your PC is lacking in color, don’t fret: NZXT’s new Aer RGB LED fans can fix that up in a snap. These fans are not just designed to look good while running; they’re also designed to be efficient, and long-lasting.
“RGB LED” seems a little generic at this point, given the fact that a countless number of vendors are churning out products kitted out with them (I’m looking at you, Corsair). What helps NZXT set itself apart from the rest with Aer is that it complements the company’s HUE+, an advanced lighting controller.
With HUE+ and Aer, users can easily customize the colors used, and how they behave. If you have a specific sort of mod that has red at the back and blue at the front (for example), that can be easily done with HUE+ and its software. Each fan can be independently controlled to give you the utmost of power over your lightning configuration. HUE+ can also be used with LED strips for those who want to go all-out.
Aer fans can be daisy-chained to create additional lighting effects, and as PWM fans, you can easily control whether you want things quieter, or cooler (the fans range from 500~1,500 RPM). Each Aer fan includes 8 RGB LEDs and support a number of different modes (fading, breathing, pulse, et cetera).
