When I think of gaming peripherals solutions provider Razer, I think of two things: The color green, and style.
It’s no surprise, then, that when the company announced a tie-up with PC chassis manufacturer NZXT, the resulting progeny of their union would be, well, green and stylish.
Behold the NZXT S340 – Designed by Razer.
The name might be a bit stilted, but, hey, the chassis itself looks like a perfect mix of elegance and style. It is an eloquent expression of beautiful styling and sound engineering.
Actually, this chassis is the second collaboration between these two companies. The first was the NZXT H440 – Designed by Razer.
As befits anything bearing the Razer name, this special edition NZXT S340 mid-tower boasts some unique Razer features. To wit, there is a backlit Triple-Headed Snake Razer logo gracing the front of the chassis (in green, of course). Also, what other chassis would have green USB 3.0 ports, or a green underglow LED on the bottom? Other distinguishing characteristics include a tinted window in the left side panel and a PCI slot base covered with a signature Razer hex mesh.
But it’s not just the outside of this special S340 that’s got Razer design touches. Inside, a cable management bar bears the Triple-Headed Snake logo, making the task of managing your system’s cables as easy as it is stylish.
The NZXT S340 – Designed by Razer has a MSRP of $99.99. It will be shipping in early September 2015, with pre-orders already in progress.
