OCZ Technology Launches Vertex Limited Edition Solid State Drive

Those following the developments in SSD technology will surely know about OCZ’s Vertex drives featuring Indilinx’s Barefoot controllers. OCZ has just announced the Vertex Limited Edition SSD in 100GB and 200GB capacities, and as the name implies, this will be a highly-limited production run. Why, do you ask? Because the Vertex LE uses the SandForce SF-1500 controller that will soon be introduced in the upcoming Vertex 2 series of SSDs (rumored to be launched just next month).
