Razer announced a new keyboard to the gaming peripheral market, the Anansi. Taking inspiration from its Naga mouse, the Anansi includes 7 thumb modifier keys just below the space bar to expand the functionality of the other keys. Macro’s galore, over 100 fully programmable keys, 5 additional gaming keys and a full spectrum selection of back-lighting.
So how many keys do you need? Well, according to Razer, as many as you can fit under the palm of your hands. With so many buttons to choose from, one really does wish for a 3rd hand. With on the fly macro recording, full customisation, anti ghosting keys, windows key disabling, 16 million colours to pick from for back-lighting and 20 profiles to select, all for $100. If they threw in some mechanical keys like with the Blackwidow, it’d have the ultimate gaming keyboard.
The Anansi is due for release this December, maybe cutting it close for the seasonal gifting period, but this keyboard is sure to make some MMO players very happy.
May I now have a neural powered 3rd arm to use all these keys?
